Terms of service

We provide the services and products available on our website to you subject to the terms and conditions below. By placing an order on the Gubi website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.


1. Order Confirmation

Your order placed with Gubi Limited is considered complete only after full payment and upon the issuance of a confirmation email by us. If you haven't received the confirmation email, please contact us for assistance.

2. Self Pick-up

To pick up your order at Gubi Limited, please present your confirmation email (soft or hard copy). Customers who have chosen to pick up their orders at our workshop should arrive between 12:30 to 14:30 & 16:00 to 18:45 (Lunch time: 14:30-16:00), as confirmed in the confirmation email. 

*Orders collected after 18:45 will incur a HK$30 late pick-up fee.

3. Delivery Service

3.1 Customers are responsible for the shipping costs associated with their items and are required to arrange for Lalamove pickup accordingly.

3.2 Lalamove(步兵)Delivery time is scheduled from 12:30 to 14:30 & 16:00 to 18:45 (Lunch time: 14:30-16:00).

3.3 Please note that we do not offer delivery service to Island District, Park Island, Tung Chung, Discovery Bay, or any rural villages. It is important to ensure that someone is available to receive the order at the specified location (as confirmed in the confirmation email) on the selected delivery date and timeslot.

4. Refund Policy

All confirmed orders are non-refundable.

5. Change of Pick-Up Date Policy

5.1 Changes to order content are only accepted and subject to a 10% administrative fee if made 36 hours before pickup.

5.2 Customers are allowed to change the pick-up date of their order within the same month of the original purchase date. For example, if the purchase date is in June, the new pick-up date must be before the end of June. If a customer attempts to change the pick-up date beyond the valid change period, the order will be treated as a forfeited order.

6. Bad Weather

6.1 In the event of a black rainstorm warning signal and/or typhoon signal no. 8 being hoisted during the scheduled delivery time, the delivery will be automatically canceled and rescheduled to a date not later than 1 month after the original delivery date. The rescheduled date will be mutually agreed upon between the parties and confirmed by email. An email will be sent within 48 hours after the suspension of the Typhoon signal no. 8 or black rainstorm to request a new delivery date.

We will notify you by email in such cases. Please check your email messages frequently to ensure clear communication regarding your order(s).

6.2 Self pick-up and delivery service will be available when Amber, Red Rainstorm, and/or Typhoon no. 3 signal(s) are hoisted.

7. Forfeiture

If you are unable to pick up your order at Gubi Limited's workshop at the specified location or timeslot, it will be treated as a forfeiture of your order without further notice. In such cases, no compensation, refund, or replacement will be provided by Gubi Limited.

In the event of forfeiture, Gubi Limited reserves the right to cancel the order without compensation, refund, or replacement.

8. Ingredients

8.1 Gubi Limited will list the main ingredients used under "Product description" on the respective pages dedicated to the cakes. While the "Product description" includes key ingredients, it is not an exhaustive list. If you have any uncertainty about the ingredients, please email us for clarification.

8.2 The "Product description" is provided for your information only. In cases where the listed ingredients are not reasonably available, Gubi Limited may change and/or replace the ingredient as deemed appropriate in the circumstances.

8.3 Product images are for illustrative purposes only and may differ from the actual product. The colors of the products may also appear different from those shown on the site.

9. No Representation

Gubi Limited's products may contain allergens or food substances that may be unsafe to consume for individuals with certain medical conditions (including but not limited to food allergies, pregnancy, diabetes, high blood pressure, etc.). Customers are solely responsible for independently assessing whether Gubi Limited's products are suitable for their individual use and consumption.

10. Legal Interpretation

In case of any inconsistency or discrepancy between the Chinese (when available) and English versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.

11. Hong Kong Law

These terms and conditions shall be construed and interpreted in accordance with Hong Kong law.

Gubi Limited reserves the right to make changes to these terms and conditions from time to time.
